QUIET COOL QC-1500 WHOLE HOUSE FAN - CALL TO ORDER, We also have the Quiet Cool QC-2250 and QC 4500 Whole House Fans Available.

The patented Quiet Cool 1500 Whole House Fan system, by QC Manufacturing, Inc. is a combination of large fans that are installed in the attic. The fans hang from the attic rafters and connect to a ceiling grille via insulated ducting that allows the cool outside air to be pulled through your home and into the attic. The hot air is pushed out through your home's existing attic vents.

NEW FOR 2010

-NEW Quiet Cool Fans are now California Energy Commission Tested & Certified For Airflow. New Increased Power-Higher CFM!

We are proud that many California utility companies recognize and value and the ability of our system to conserve substantial amounts of electricity on cooling in conjunction with your air conditioner. They are willing to pay thousands of dollars in rebates to have the Quiet Cool fan systems installed in homes. Whole house fans save energy, money and are good for the environment.

Add this new technology to your home and you can easily save up to 90% on your electric bill.  By choosing to finance with low monthly payments, your savings may actually be greater than your monthly payments.  Throw in energy saving rebates and that makes Quiet Cool Fans a very smart investment!

Just Flip A Switch and Begin To Cool & Ventilate Your Home. Quiet Cool Whole-House Fans Are Revolutionizing the Market!

The Quiet Cool System is a "New Generation Product," based on a proven method of whole-house cooling that has been around for years.  It is the most versatile cooling and ventilating system on the market today! It Cools. It Ventilates. It Exhausts.

WHOLE HOUSE FANS COOL 3 DIFFERENT WAYS

- The fans draw cooler outside air in through your open windows which lowers the room temperature by as much as 10 to 20 degrees F. Your open windows serve as intake “vents” which allow you to control the air flow by selecting how many or which windows you open.

- Moving air, blowing through the whole house cools the occupants. The cooling breeze can lower the skin temperature by 5 to 10 degrees F.

- The cooler air, after passing through the living space, is forced into the attic which pushes the hot attic air out through the attic vents. This can lower the attic air temperature by as much as 40 degrees F.

WHAT ARE WHOLE HOUSE FANS?

Whole house fans are a simple method of cooling your house. This method of whole house cooling has been around for years, however traditional whole house fans can be very noisy. Not so with the Quiet Cool Fans. Our fans are less than 0.4 sones each!

The attic can reach temperatures in excess of 150 degrees F. in summer, and that air, if allowed to remain undisturbed, will radiate heat down through the insulation to heat the living space. That is the main reason that a home, without the use of a whole house fan, remains uncomfortably warm in summer evenings, and that the upper floor of a multi-floor house is always warmer.

One or more QuietCool’s can be used to ventilate your home at any time of the year.

WHEN TO RUN YOUR FANS

Anytime of day that it feels cooler outside than inside your home, the system will work effectively. In the summer, this normally happens in the late afternoon to early evening, through to the next morning.

We recommend you start by cooling the area where you are going to be spending the most time for the next few hours.

In other words, create the coolest breeze where you are going to be. For example, in most family situations, the early evening is spent in the kitchen / family room area. Assuming this to be true, this is where you would start.
