Pick&Click! ™ pre-installed
The new innovative Pick&Click! ™ brackets make blind installation a snap! Every FS (VSE, VS) skylight comes pre-installed with Pick&Click! ™ brackets that allows for fast and easy installation of sunscreening blinds and accessories.

Energy efficient glass options for added safety and energy efficiency
All VELUX skylight glazings are built using energy efficient, LoE3, Argon gas injected dual glass panes. The FS skylight comes with your choice of the following glazing options, each designed to meet the needs of specific building situations:

* Impact glass - Special safety glass designed to meet code requirements for hurricane prone areas (Available for select sizes)
* Laminated glass - Tempered safety glass with extra laminated pane for added safety and comfort
* Tempered glass - Tempered safety glass
* Snowload glass - Special safety glass required in some heavy snow areas

Quality construction
The FS skylight comes with a select pre-finished white wood frame and protective aluminum or copper cladding. Integrated gaskets drain condensation to the outside.

Streamlined exterior
The smooth, low-profile of the FS skylight does not obstruct your roofline.

Sunscreening options for optimal light control
The FS skylight is compatible with several manual sunscreening accessories including:
* Blackout Blinds – Blocks the light. Available in solar, electric and manual versions.
* Venetian Blinds - Accurate glare and light control. Available in electric and manual versions.
* Roller Blinds - Diffuse the light. Available in solar, electric and manual versions.

Flashing options for a weathertight installation
A complete line of flashing systems help ensure a weathertight installation for your FS skylight, no matter what your roofing material:

The VELUX deck mounted product family is now designated The No Leak Skylight. It carries the new 10-year installation warranty plus 20 years on glass, 10 years on product, and five years on blinds and controls. Features include 3 layers of water protection – advanced LoE3 glass for better energy efficiency, higher visible light transmittance, and improved solar heat gain performance – money-saving pre-finished white frames and sashes – pre-mounted brackets for quick installation of sunscreen blinds – lower roof profile with an updated curved architectural design – and a neutral gray color to blend with most roof materials and colors.
